Terms of service
The rules for using Stampd.
These terms explain the license, responsibilities, limits, and community standards that apply when you use the Stampd app, website, and related services.
1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Stampd mobile app, website, waitlist, support tools, and related services made available by Stampd Social. By accessing or using Stampd, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Stampd.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, to use Stampd. You may use Stampd only if you can form a binding agreement and your use is not prohibited by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that occurs through your account. You may not sell, lend, transfer, or impersonate another person’s account.
3. Service License
Subject to these Terms, Stampd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not give you any ownership rights in Stampd or its software, design, branding, or underlying technology.
Except as allowed by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or create derivative works from Stampd or any part of the service.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the trips, moments, photos, captions, comments, messages, and other content you submit to Stampd. By submitting content, you grant Stampd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service in line with your settings and these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to upload and share your content. This means you must not post content that you do not have permission to use, or that violates law, privacy rights, publicity rights, contract rights, or intellectual property rights.
5. Content Availability and No Storage Guarantee
Stampd is a social product, not a guaranteed backup or archival service. We do not promise that any account, photo, message, trip, comment, or other content will remain available, recoverable, or unchanged for any period of time.
Content may be removed, become unavailable, or be deleted because of your actions, the actions of other users, moderation decisions, product changes, storage failures, security issues, legal requests, or service shutdowns. You should keep your own copies of any content you want to preserve.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, or infringing content.
- Use Stampd to impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Interfere with, disrupt, scrape, or probe the service or its infrastructure.
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Use Stampd in a way that could harm other users or the service.
- Use bots, automation, or bulk methods to create accounts, harvest content, spam users, or manipulate engagement.
- Bypass moderation actions, block lists, or enforcement restrictions.
8. Reports, Moderation, and Enforcement
We may investigate misuse of Stampd and review content, account behavior, reports, and related records to protect users and the service. We may remove content, restrict visibility, revoke sessions, block features, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other action when we believe it is appropriate to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or reduce risk.
We may act with or without prior notice. If you believe an action was taken in error, you may contact hello@stampdsocial.com, but we do not guarantee reversal of any moderation decision.
9. Third-Party Services
Stampd may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, media storage, mapping, place search, and similar functions. We are not responsible for the availability or independent terms of third-party services, but their use may affect how certain Stampd features work.
10. Intellectual Property and Feedback
Stampd and its logos, software, site design, visual elements, text, and other service materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Except for the limited license above, these Terms do not give you any right to use our intellectual property.
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you give us permission to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
11. Disclaimers
Stampd is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, security, accuracy, and freedom from errors or harmful components.
Travel information, place details, maps, dates, user-generated content, and social interactions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Stampd is not a guarantee of travel safety, availability, legality, or user conduct.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stampd Social and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the service.
13. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stampd Social and its officers, owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your content, your use of Stampd, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
14. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Stampd at any time. We may also update these Terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate.
15. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
You may stop using Stampd at any time and may delete your account from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or reclaim inactive or unavailable usernames when needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or operate the service.
Termination does not automatically erase all information immediately. Some records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy, including for backups, safety investigations, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

7. Social Features and User Interactions
Stampd includes social features such as follows, comments, likes, stamps, inbox messages, and shared trip links. Some content may be visible to others depending on the audience setting you choose. You are responsible for the content you decide to share and for the audience setting you apply to it.
We do not control or endorse everything users post or send through Stampd, and we are not responsible for the conduct of other users. Your interactions with other users are at your own risk.
